Magnolia event

Last saturday I went to a 'Magnolia event' and had loads of fun!! We got to do 4 workshops using different techniques. For each workshop we only had one hour and 15 minutes, so I did'nt finish all of the projects, guess I'm really slow!! LOL. I just finished this one card and I'm going to finish the rest of them later this week and show them to you on my blog.

On this card we paperpieced the entire image, first we stamped the image on cardstock with a skin colour and then we stamped on different pieces of cardstock and patterned paper and cut the parts out that we needed and adhered them to the image we stamped on the skin coloured cardstock! (hope you're still with me here! LOL) Then I did some doodling and used my stickles 'cause I looove glitter ;o)

The stamp we used and got to take home with us, is so cute! She was made exclusively for this event and will not be available to purchase in any store. How COOL is that!! She was named after the store owner of 'Paper & Pictures', who's name is Truike and this cute little Magnolia is named 'Truik'. Aww, isn't she cute with her tulip and her little wooden shoes? Definitely an all Dutch girl!!

Sorry for the dark picture and thank you for looking!

Wow!!! What an adorable card!!! I love all that paper piercing (this would be too fiddly for me *lol*)
I really LOVE the cute little 'Truik' (this is REALLY cool.. to have such an exclusive stamp on hand :-) ) and the papers you used for piercing AND for the background! Love the layout of the card very much! Wonderful work!
Looking forward to seeing the other three cards during the week :-))))
