Hiya girls, I celebrated my 25th birthday last saturday and wanted to share some pictures with you! My birthday is on August the 18th and my little sister's birthday is on August the 16th, so we used to celebrate togheter when I still lived at my mother's.
This year we went shopping in Amsterdam for our birthday outfit's and we bought the same things, so when I celebrated my birthday I asked her to wear her birthday dress again so we still could celebrate togheter a little, the way we used to when we where growing up.
It was her 19th birthday and my 25th ( I feel so old next to her *sigh*). I'm the pale one in the pictures, lol! Not much sun for me this summer, because of my daughter's broken leg, unfortunately. And my sister went to Tunisia, so standing next to her I look really REALLY white, lol!!

TOOOOOT!!!

WOO-HOO!! I'm sooo excited, I'm just over the moon!!
A couple of weeks ago I read about a Guest DT call for Lelo Designs, I didn't know this brand of stamps, so I went to their website to have a look and I loved what I saw, so I decided to enter the Guest DT call, and guess what?
I'm one of the two lucky girls that won a spot as a Guest Design team member for the next two months!! YEEY!! How exciting is that??

Hi girls,

I'm sorry I haven't been around to leave comments on your stunning cards. My girls, my husband and I have all caught a terrible flu virus. I've been feeling ill for days now, hurting all over, having headaches, feelings and feeling cold and the next minute feeling hot. It's driving me crazy, I'm feeling sooo sorry for myself can't remember the last time I felt this bad. Hopefully I'll feel better soon so I can make some cards and do some blog hopping again!

Derwent potloden

Ik ben helemaal blij!
Kijk eens wat de postbode mij vandaag kwam brengen:















Een mooie houten kist gevuld met 72 Derwent pastelpotloden, ik heb ze gekocht bij Harolds. Nou ligt Rotterdam hier niet om de hoek, maar gelukkig wilden ze de potloden ook verzenden! Had er gelijk doezelaars en reukloze terpentine bij besteld.















Natuurlijk wilde ik ze meteen uitproberen en dit is het resultaat, mijn allereerste Magnolia:


















Ik moet natuurlijk nog heel wat oefenen, maar hé, het begin is er! En ik vind het echt hartstikke leuk om te doen, dus er zullen zeker meer volgen. Ik ben helemaal blij met deze aankoop!

Nieuwe banner!

Ik heb een nieuwe banner gemaakt met photoshop, ik vind 'm zelf erg goed gelukt! Ik heb gebruik gemaakt van de kit 'Snowprincess' van Kay Miller Designs.
Nu nog zien uit te vogelen hoe ik een eigen achtergrond kan plaatsen, maar heb het gevoel dat dat een stuk lastiger gaat worden..

Mijn eerste bericht

Het is zover, ook ik heb een blog in leven geroepen. Het was al een tijdje aan het kriebelen, maar ik twijfelde ontzettend. Vooral omdat ik nog een beginner ben op scrap gebied en het nog eng vind om mijn creaties met anderen te delen.
Ik hoop nog veel te kunnen leren en nog ontzettend te groeien op scrapgebied, dus dan is een blog natuurlijk wel leuk om het vanaf het begin bij te houden en er later op terug te kijken.

Mijn blog zal vooral gaan over scrapbooking, maar er zullen ook berichtjes voorbij komen over mijn gezinsleven en andere dingen die er op dat moment in mijn leven spelen en die ik wil delen.

Dit blog ziet er nog niet uit hoe ik het wil. Er zijn nogal wat dingen die ik nog moet uitvogelen (zoals; hoe plaats ik een eigen achtergrond...grrr...kom er niet uit! Dus als iemand me dat kan vertellen, graag!). Heb ff vlug een plaatje voor bovenin het blog gepaintshopt, maar daar ben ik niet tevreden over, dus dat gaat nog veranderen, maar anders vond ik 't zo saai! ;)

Dat was het dan, mijn eerste blog berichtje is een feit, hopelijk gaan er nog vele volgen.
