Hi girls, thank you so much for the comments that you left on yesterday's post, it's truly appreciated.
The card I'm showing you today is another card that I started a couple of days a go and didn't get to finish until this morning. I made this card for the TLC228 challenge on SCS. This weeks challenge was to make a 'Stand up' card, and let me tell you, it's loads of fun and very easy to do! I think I will be doing these more often.
I used this weeks 'Sketch Saturday' sketch for my layout, love that sketch!
I used my adorable 'LiLi's birthday cake' stamp from 'Inky Impressions'. It's my favorite stamp at the moment, she's just too cute!

And some exciting news!!

There is going to be another DT call at 'Inky Impressions' next week, so if you want to join in the fun, keep your eye out for that! I will keep you girls posted.Recipe:

I made this card for this weeks SCS 'ways to use it' challenge which is 'bold & bright' and the sketch I used is this weeks sketch on the 'Friday sketchers' blog. The Imaginisce papers I used are really bright IRL, love those papers! The image is the adorable 'Angelica's bunny hugs' from 'Inky Impressions', she's such a cutie! On the stamp the bunny has two little bows on her ear, but I've covered them with two little flowers, rub ons from Imaginisce, so the bunny would match the whole 'flowery' scene, cute right?
The gems on the left corners of the card are orange, they look brown on the picture, they just wouldn't look right, argh..
I received this award a couple of days ago from the very talented Janny (scrappyjan). Thank you so much, I really appreciate it and I'm sorry for posting this so late.

Hiya girls, here I am with another cute Inky Impressions card, isn't she the cutest? I'm SO lovin' the expression on her face, CUTE!!
For this card I used this weeks fabulous SCS sketch, sketch 233. I'm also entering this card into this weeks 'Simon Says Stamp' challenge, which is to make a birthday card because this week is the first birthday of the 'Simon Says Stamp' blog! CONGRATULATIONS Heidi! I'm also entering this card into this weeks 'Charisma Cardz' challenge which is 'Diamonds are a girls best friend' and everybody knows how much I love sparkle!
I decided to cut of LiLi's legs for this card (OM that sounds so weird, but you girls know what I mean, right? lol) so she would fit the sketch better.
I cut her out with my oval nesties and then layered her on a scalloped oval piece of cardstock that I cut with a scalloped oval nestie and then I used the largest oval nestie and cut an oval out of the DP and used my scissors to cut of the embossed border (so the next layer would show ->), then I cut another oval out of the cardstock, again, with the largest oval nestie.
I used foam tape to stick the scalloped piece of paper onto the oval piece of DP. Then I used another piece of foam tape to tape the entire thing onto the card.
Hope you're still with me, lol!
I had a lot of fun creating this card and I hope you girls like it:
