Just Magnolia Monthly Challenge #1

As promised, we're back with our first Simon Says Stamp monthly challenge! We are so excited - this has been in the planning for weeks and weeks and today's the day we get to show our creations to you all! Now, because this is a special challenge with an extra special prize the theme is a bit more challenging but we know you can all do it! This month the challenge is to alter a container.



When I read we were going to do this challenge I was going to duck out. I've never altered something like this and I didn't think I could do it. When I told my DH last sunday he said I should do it and he was confident that I could do it (no one believes in me like he does), so I started altering this little wooden box, didn't have a lot of time to finish it, but I managed. I didn't have any pearls that matched so I coloured them with my Copics, I sprayed the lace, roses & white Prima flowers with glimmer mist 'old lace'.
