Whiff of Joy - Dance with your Heart

Since I found out a little over a week ago that my 4 year old daughter has to have surgery I completely lost my mojo. I'm so very worried about it. I know it's a very common operation, she needs to have her tonsils & adenoids removed and tubes put into both her ears (hope I've 'said' it right, had to translate it to English).
Anyway, it totally s#cks!! We have to wait until July 6th for the surgery too.

For the card I made I used three different stamps and a sentiment stamp all of them are by Whiff of Joy, I combined stamps from the April kit - Scheharezade
(1001 nights) & the May store stamp kit - Aladin (1001 nights). I masked the images, thought it would look cool to have all the pretty bellydancers on one card :) LOVE how you can combine the stamps from these two kits!!
The card looks way better IRL, for some reason it was hard to photograph.

Challenges:

Papertake Weekly - Say it with flowers
Charisma Cardz - 3D
A Spoonful of Sugar - Cute & Girly

Recipe:

Papers: My Minds Eye; Ooh la la for her

Stamp: Whiff of Joy
Colour medium: Copic Sketch Markers

Embellishments: Gems; Melissa Francess, Flowers; Prima

Get Well Soon! - Whiff of Joy

Another card with the new awesome Whiff of Joy 'Get Well' collection. I truly LOVE it! The image I used for this card is called 'Sick Henry'.

Now I know Henry is a very manly mouse and this card is rather pink, but he assured me he doesn't mind his image to be used on the more feminine cards, lol!

My mojo left me while I was working on this card. Everything I tried to put on it just seemed wrong! Ugh. And then I used a white rub-on for a sentiment, you can barely see it on the picture, it's on the left hand corner if you look realy hard you might be able to spot it! it says 'Get well soon' . Darn rub-ons, lol.
I am pleased with the way littly Henry turned out, he looks so cute in that colour, lol.

I'm entering this card in to the following challenges:

- Sunday Sketch & Stamp: Sketch
- A Spoonfull of Sugar: Furry Friends
- Everybody Art Challenge: Pastel Colours

Recipe:

Papers: Cosmo Cricket

Stamp: Whiff of Joy
Colour medium: Copic Sketch Markers

Embellishments: Pearls; Kaiser Kraft, Rub on; Making Memories
Tools: Nestabilities; Spellbinder

Hugs and Kisses and Magical Wishes..

Hi girls, today I'm going to show you 2 other cards I made with the amazing Whiff of Joy April stamp kit - Scheherazade (1001 nights).

For the first card I've used the gorgeous bellydancer, I really love this stamp 'cause I used to take belly dance lessons and I'm going to start taking lessons again in september! Can't wait to get started, so much fun!
Well, I won't show you a picture of me in my bellydance outfit, wouldn't want to scare anyone now would I, lol, I'm just going to leave it at this card and truly stunning image:

The purple background paper I used was kinda plain so I used one of the accesory stamps, the slippers, and gold embossed it on the background. So pretty! The sentiment comes with the kit too and it says 'Sending you hugs and kisses and magical wishes' and I used the golden embossing powder there too! Can't get enough of it, lol. The purple & gold does create that magical 1001 nights feeling, don't you think? I love it!

When I finished the card I decided to use the scraps and create a little shadowbox card to showcase this beautiful accesory stamp that comes with the stamp kit. I stamped the image twice, used gold sparkling embossing powder, cut one of the images out and then stuck it on top of the other flowers to create a 3D effect. It's really pretty IRL, unfortunately I just can't get a decent picture of this card.

I'm entering this in to this weeks 'A Spoon Full of Sugar' challenge blog, which is 3D!

Inky Impressions: Design Team Challenge #1

The first 'Inky Impressions' Design Team Challenge is a colour challenge:
Pink Passion, Baja Breeze and So Saffron.

Unfortunately we don't have any 'Stampin' up' in the Netherlands *boohoo* so I tried to get as close to the colours as I could. It took some serious digging trough my craft stash, but finally I found these gorgeous DCWV papers and I thought they would do the trick ;o)

Hope you likey:

I coloured the gorgeous 'Angelica's bunny hugs' with my copics, cut a flower and buterfly out of the DP and used some roses I bought on Ebay. The white cardstock is Bazzill, and the light blue is gorgeous sparkly glitter cardstock (too bad it doesn't show on the pic) but I can't remember where I got it, I think it's DCWV but I'm not sure.

Be sure to go and check out the cards by the other Inspirational Inkettes on the 'Inky Impressions' challenge blog.

I'm also entering this card to the 'A Spoon Full of Sugar' challenge, which is to use butterflies somewhere on your creation.

Thank you for stopping by, hope you'll have a fabulous day,

xx

Whiff of Joy challenge #21 & A Spoon Full of Suger challenge #43

A really quick post today, because I'm very tired! Here's a card I made using Heathers sketch (kinda, LOL) on the 'Whiff of Joy' challenge blog. I'm also entering this to the 'A Spoon Full of Sugar' challenge blog, the challenge is to use gems on your card and I'm entering it to the 'Fun Cards Challenge' on Tiets her club which is Spring!
The yellow cardstock I used on this card is glitter cardstock, to bad it doesn't show in the picture, it's really pretty IRL! The picture is a little dark, sorry ;o)

And finally, here are some of the pictures we took last Saturday at my daughters first birthday party!

Awww.. aren't they cute ;o)
Thanks for looking!

A Spoon full of sugar #37 & Kimmies birthday challenge #4

Today I finished a card for Kimmies 4th birthday challenge which is to use an animal and any kind of ribbon, so I used the cute 'Whiff of Joy' stamp I won on the party animals release party! Don't these foxes look like they are having a lot of fun?

For this card I used the sketch from the 'A Spoonfull of Sugar' blog. I hope you girls still recognize the sketch cuz I flipped it around a little LOL. I turned it a 90 degrees to the left but did leave the ribbon on the original spot.

Well, on to my card:

It's a little hard to tell, but the sentiment says 'celebrate'.

A Spoon full of sugar #34

I really loved this weeks challenge on the 'A Spoon full of sugar' blog; Paper Piecing! I never did any paper piecing before and I really enjoyed it. I paper pieced Tilda's dress and shoes yesterday, but I'm not feeling to well lately, so I finished the card today. Because of the way I'm feeling I didn't have a lot of inspiration so I used sketch #33 made by Katharina and I kept the card quite simple.

And again, sorry for the bad pic.

Thanks for looking,

A Spoon Full Of Sugar #33

I made this card for 'A spoon full of sugar' challenge blog. I used the 'Whiff of Joy' stamp 'Lizzie with Muff' Doesn't she look great with black hair? I just love Lizzie, so I tought I would use her for a birthday card instead of a christmas card this time ;o)

I just started making cards in december, and I really am hooked. Just love all the cute stamps and I never could've guessed that I would love colouring them as much as I do. I still have a lot to learn and love visiting blogs of you talented ladies out there, you're all such an inspiration to me.

Well, enough with the chitchat or I'll be here all day LOL, here's my card:
